Discover the rich history, legacy, legends and lore that shaped Port Clinton into the Vacationland it is today. Your tour guide will share these stories while strolling along the Lake Erie shoreline and through the streets of Port Clinton.
The Port Clinton tour route is approximately 1 mile and begins at the Lakeview Park Concession Stand, continues across the street to the city beach, runs west along the shoreline to the Lake Erie Love sign, turns back to the Port Clinton light house, passes through the wetlands trail and back to Lakeview Park by way of the beach. The tour will last approximately 1.25 hours. The terrain varies from grass, sand, asphalt and gravel. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
